A young person who was struggling to develop social relationships and was uninterested/unengaged in learning. He was struggling with anxiety, had post-traumatic stress disorder and was hypervigilant.

The tutor focused on his interests and strengths alongside his challenges and developed a bespoke, small step approach to his learning, ensuring he experienced regular success.

He is now fully integrated in a specialist placement and continuing to experience both social and learning success.

A young person struggling to engage with learning which would impact his ambition of entering an apprenticeship for the next stage of his educational journey.  He had ASC and was experiencing anxiety.
